Overview
This initiative focused on launching the next generation of Imagine Learning’s flagship product, Imagine EdgeEX. The project required aligning the platform with the new corporate identity and integrating immersive gamification mechanics. These enhancements modernized the user interface to significantly drive student engagement and course completion rates.
Challenge
Imagine EdgeEX needed a complete modernization to support next-gen gamification, but the path was blocked by a rigid legacy interface and a complex hybrid codebase. Additionally, with a brand new product management team in place, there was a significant knowledge gap regarding historical constraints.

- Created high-fidelity motion prototypes in Figma to minimize engineering guesswork and accelerate implementation.
- Engineered a customizable avatar and iconography library by extending the FontAwesome framework to fit brand needs.
- Validated design concepts and gamification mechanics through iterative rounds of virtual and on-site user testing.
- Produced brand guide for Marketing team that featured the Space Cat character in shirts, stickers, and conference materials.
